After over a decade of experience managing cafes, food retail and wholesale, David took his incredible skill as a photographer to the next level and launched full time into food and product photography. David is also a respected character in the coffee world: he owned and operated an award-winning coffee bar in his home province of Newfoundland before moving to London, where he joined the vibrant coffee scene and worked with cafés across the city.
His photography work has featured online and in many print publications – and last but not least, in his first book London Coffee, for which he took hundreds of photographs of the best of the best of London’s coffee industry.
When he’s not taking some of the most exciting food photographs in the UK, his background as a manager across the food industry shines through. His attention for detail and experience across multi-faceted projects throughout his career cements him as an excellent project manager.
